Question: What'd I do if I need some help when I'm in China?

China Unicom offers value-added multi-language voice information service. Just call 010-116114 to get local help and support when you are in China, our foreign language speaking operators(English, Japanese, Korean or French) will facilitate you? a better stay in China. The service includes number inquiry, local service navigation, transportation information, and so on.

With the help of 010-116114, inbound roamers could get help for booking air tickets, hotel rooms, tourist services, restaurant, cakes, film tickets, Spa tickets, KTV rooms, wine, etc. The air ticket booking service covers all domestic airlines and tens of overseas airlines; hotel reservation service covers thousands of hotels in China.


Question: How to select China Unicom's network manually?

Answers:

As soon as you arrive China your phone will automatically look for networks to use based on how strong the local operator's signals are. But, supposing you've not registered on China Unicom's network, and you'd like to roam using China Unicom's 3G (WCDMA) network or 2G (GSM) network, you should select it manually.

See below for instructions on how to select China Unicom manually based on your specific handset. If your handset manufacturer is not featured here please refer to your user manual. Choosing networks is free and easy and you can change them whenever you want.

Once you've manually selected China Unicom's network: CHN-CUGSM or CNH-CUGSM 3G will appear on your phone's screen.
